Dr. Martha Baker-Jordan was a Professor of Piano Pedagogy at California State University, Fullerton, for thirty-four years where she received numerous awards for teaching excellence. In addition to many published articles, she authored the best-selling Practical Piano Pedagogy. She was a frequent presenter at state, national, and international levels and served in many capacities of leadership for the NCKP, as well as editing the conference proceedings several times. Martha received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Conference on Keyboard Pedagogy in 2011.
